I work at the Eye Clinic at the Children’s Hospital Westmead. We work hard to preserve vision, treat vision loss and maximise the quality of life for children living with a vision impairment. I am passionate about eye health and feel so grateful to have the opportunity to work with such beautiful patients. We are in desperate need for a new fundus camera to help record and document the back of the eye. This is especially important for children with eye cancer, glaucoma, ex premature children, vision loss and many other diseases that affect vision. It is vital to ensure that we can continue to be a centre of excellence. I will be running 14km to save sight in these precious children.
Here is a video that explains my job at the Children’s Hospital.
