April 16, 2000 time stood still as I received a call from my younger brother that 'Dad was dead.' I was instantaneously engulfed in a torrent of numbing pain. Heart disease had taken my Dad at the youthful age of 52. It was then, 18 years ago that I began a lifetime commitment in supporting the Heart Foundation.
This year I am honoured to co-captain the Heart Foundation running team. I've created this page because I want to continue to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of Heart Foundation and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in The 2018 Sun-Herald City2Surf presented by Westpac.
Did you know heart disease is Australia's number 1 killer?
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about The Heart Foundation, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
