I've created this page because I want to help make a difference. My wife and I started Greyhound Rescue many years ago and I'm inspired by the work of all the volunteers at Greyhound Rescue and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in The 2018 Sun-Herald City2Surf presented by Westpac. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Greyhound Rescue, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing our website www.greyhoundrescue.com.au or Facebook page with your friends and family. Greyhound Rescue is a 100% Charity with no formal funding from the Government. We are able to save and re-home greyhounds, discarded from the racing industry, due to the generosity of the public through fundraising initiatives. Often the greyhounds will have health issues that will need to be sorted before re-homing and a lot of our fundraising covers these costs.
We believe all greyhounds deserve to have a couch to call their own and we do not give up on any of them.
People who join our team and raise $150 will get a yellow Greyhound Rescue Tshirt to wear on the day.
